Message point though in terms of the fact that as long as the engine is running, it is wearing out. Its wear can be accelerated by a number of different things.

I think it deserves greater appreciation to the fact that only one bearing failed miserably, while the rest of them look incredibly well considering how much power the car has made before and with Dee's driving habits. Over 700 crank horsepower has been put through the rest of the cylinders and they look near perfect.

Only thing I can't agree with you on though is the tuning aspect of it all, in terms of how aggressive my tuning is. Not picking a fight with Mr. Wolf here at all, but my tunes are actually just as safe as his, if not more due to the safety mapping configurations I take advantage of while JWT doesn't. Dee's car was also precision tuned on a dyno with the ZEM, so the program in the car is a much better suit than any EPROM upgrade or 2-dimensional AFC tuning could ever be. An AFC tune is only correct for 1 boost pressure setting that it is adjusted for. If you change the boost pressure, the A/F isn't going to be the same whereas the ZEM allows me to tune the fuel and timing for every boost setting.

I'm still thinking that it is either a bad injector or there is something wrong with the crank journal.
